Several years ago, our hvac broke. We tried to fix it ourselves on YouTube, with no luck. We called the company that originally installed the hvac with the previous owners and he sighed and said he'd told the previous owners it wasn't the right hvac but they'd insisted on having it installed anyway. He recommended replacing the compressor, which we could not afford to do. That winter, we had no heat. We survived when space heaters placed all around the three floors of our house. We spent most of the winter under blankets. The following summer, we could not install window acs because we have small crank windows that will not accommodate window units. Even with many fans, the heat was unbearable. Desperate, we called a couple of companies for more opinions. One company with pink trucks, actually pulled apart and destroyed the compressor during their "estimate." We were certain they were scamming us and we were right. However, it was very hot and we were desperate, so we allowed them to replace the compressor. After the compressor was replaced, the ac still didn't work. Now we owed money we didn't have and we were still hot. We were furious and distrustful and very cranky from but having any temperature control for over a year. Desperate, we tried one more company: JP. They sent a younger kid out and we didn't have a lot of hope when he arrived and we saw how young he was. However, he showed up, looked over our system carefully, pulled out some kind of sensor, cleaned it and put it back. Like magic, both the heat and cooling started working! I think he charged us a little over $100 for a solution we had been chasing for years. Incredible. A couple of years later, the hvac kept turning off again, so we thought it was the same sensor. We cleaned it, then replaced it, then replaced a few more sensors. Absolutely none of that worked. So we bit the bullet and called the only hvac company we trust again. Again, they sent out a young kid. Again he carefully looked everything over and discovered a bird had built its nest in one of the chimnneys or vents. This kid actually climbed out there and gently removed the birds' nest and placed it somewhere it wouldn't interfere with the hvac system. This is the only company in the area that didn't try to hit us with expensive and unnecessary replacements. They are the only company we dealt with that was willing to take the time to actually look at the existing system and troubleshoot. I cannot recommend JP plumbing and heating enough. I really feel they are the only company in the area that will give you a fair deal and actually listen and fix your problem rather than trying to sell you a whole new system you don't need.

Dalton fixed our issue that was quoted to be a major problem. He used a rational approach and problem solved to save us a headache and huge financial burden. Instead of breaking into a wall and digging up concrete, we now have a functional and clear drain. Dalton saved us big time!

I've been very impressed with JP Plumbing & Heating! They did all of the work in my new build and were super easy to work with throughout the process. They were great about asking where I wanted different fixtures and keeping things custom. We've called them a few more times for items & they've always been very kind, understanding and professional. Will definitely continue to use them!
